01What exactly is an Italian charm bracelet?
An Italian charm bracelet is built link by link instead of using dangling charms. Each charm becomes part of the bracelet itself, creating a smooth, wearable record of the people, places and moments that matter to you.
02How do I start building my bracelet?
Begin with the symbols that already feel personal: an initial, a place, a person, a private joke or a turning point. Once your order reaches an eligible bundle, the corresponding bracelet and gifts are added according to the offer shown on the page.
03Do I need a base bracelet to wear the charms?
Yes. Italycharm charms are installed into an Italian-style base bracelet. Eligible starter bundles include a complimentary base bracelet, so you can begin with the charms rather than buying every component separately.
04How many charms should I start with?
There is no correct number. Three charms can hold one small chapter; five can tell the story of a season; ten can create a fuller archive. Most first-time customers begin with five to ten while leaving room to add more later.
05Does the bracelet need to be completely filled with charms?
No. Your bracelet can combine decorative charms with its original links. Replace more links whenever you find a new symbol, memory or milestone worth keeping.
06How do I choose the right bracelet size?
Measure around your wrist where you usually wear a bracelet. The base can then be adjusted by adding or removing links. Choose a closer fit for a polished, watch-like look or a slightly looser fit for more movement.
07Is it difficult to add or remove a charm?
Once you learn the motion, it usually takes only a few minutes. Separate two links with the charm tool, slide the new charm into place and reconnect the bracelet. A visual guide makes the first change simple.
08What are the charms made from, and can I wear them in water?
Silver charms are made from polished 316L stainless steel and are designed for everyday wear. They can handle normal water contact, but drying the bracelet after chlorine, salt water, skincare or cleaning products will help preserve its finish.
